Looking to go beyond garden-variety teaching, Life Lab is hosting two workshops that aim to give local educators the tools they need to create garden-based curriculums. "The program is geared to train 1,500 people over the next two years, and Life Lab can't do that," said John Fisher, the nonprofit's outreach director. "The idea is to empower others to go train other teachers and educators in their region."
